Tool Overview

The PVRCarbon Recording libraries can be used for capturing Vulkan, OpenGL ES 2.0+, D3D11, OpenGL SC 2.0, EGL, and OpenCL API calls made by an application.

This user manual gives full instructions on how to set up, use, and troubleshoot capturing on different platforms.

Note

The remote recording functionality from the PVRCarbon GUI automatically configures a device for recording. Recording from the GUI should be preferred in most cases.
